Ms. Miller, first of all, I would like to congratulate you on your books. They are very important to me because they help the children understand that it is not their fault the way they are treated. I know you said in one of your interviews that you do not like to talk about yourself. You also stated that your first book does have some personal information. I am making a power point presentation of you and your theory for my class. I cannot seem to find information about how many siblings you have and when your parents passed away. I would also like to know what schools you went to as a child, if possible. I have already researched your college information, your beautiful paintings and what they mean to you. I love your letters on your website too. Also, I understand and respect your theory regarding the young child in all of us. It has been a privilege to be able to write you this note. If you do not reply, I understand and thank you again for the books that you have written. Sincerely, Virgie
AM: Thank you for your understanding and respecting my wish not to be asked for more than what I already shared about my childhood. I do WANT that people READ my books and the whole material they have to their disposal (that is already much) and don't need more. Some people f.i. who tell me that they read all my books write me that shaking my hand would mean more to them than all of my books together. This is of course the last thingt I would like to hear. But as long as people don't know exactly how their parents treated them they protect the behavior of their parents, by unconsciously repeating it towards other persons without wanting to hurt anybody. This happens quite often. For that reason among others I decided not to give details about my personal life.
